Miriam Gutierrez

I am a Business major at Skidmore College. I did not come from a wealthy background, and I was raised by a single mother who worked hard to create opportunities for us. Watching her raise me while also running her own business had a huge impact on the person I am today.

Her example is what inspired me to major in business. She taught me that success does not always come from having the easiest start. Sometimes it comes from discipline, and the ability to keep going no matter what. That mindset stayed with me and continues to shape the way I approach my goals. 

I made this website to expand my digital footprint and create a space that reflects both my professionalism and my personality. I want people to feel comfortable with me and remember me in a positive way. More than anything, I want this space to reflect where I come from, what I value, and what I am working toward.

My values are discipline, resilience, honesty, and growth. I believe that where you come from does not limit where you can go. My background has taught me to be responsible, hardworking, and focused on long-term goals. I want to connect these values to the world by using my skills in business to help create stronger systems, better opportunities, and meaningful work. I hope to build a career that reflects who I am and the values that shaped me.
